  • Semaglutide is also an antidiabetic medication used for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes.

  • It is a once-weekly injectable medication, starting at a low dose and is gradually increased until a therapeutic effect is desired.

  •  Semaglutide (GLP-1) receptor agonist has a broad spectrum of action.

    • It improves insulin secretion.

    • Decreases gastric emptying making you feel full.

    • It can help reduce food intake because you don't feel hungry.

    • Decreases inflammation.

  • We use Semaglutide plus L-carnitine in our injections. L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid in your body.

  • L-Carnitine is a substance produced by the liver and kidneys which convert body fat into energy. Studies show that carnitine reduces body fat, increases muscle mass, improves stamina and strength, and lessens fatigue, which may all contribute to weight loss.

How does Semaglutide work?

Semaglutide weight loss works by increasing the amount of insulin produced by the pancreas and decreasing the amount of glucagon made by the liver. This combination results in reduced hunger and increased energy levels. Semaglutide should be used as an adjunct to a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity for chronic weight management. It is used in adults with an initial body mass index (BMI) that is considered outside the healthy range (>27 BMI). In studies it has shown that people taking this medication routinely don’t feel hungry or crave their favorite unhealthy foods which makes it easier to choose healthier foods.
